Topic: 16 bit display

how do i change my PC to display in 16 bit.
I want to do this for a performance boost
Just like how in windows changing the display to 16 bit made a HUGE improvement vs. the default 32bit.

I think you can just edit your xorg.conf file. Change:

    DefaultDepth    24

to

    DefaultDepth    16
