Topic: ArchView

Anyone used it?

ArchView is a Firefox extension designed to let you see what is in an archive without having to download the whole thing. it just grabs the bits of the archive it needs to give you the index.

I'm thinking of trying it out, but I tend to avoid using Add-ons that I don't reckon I'll use much unless I know some other people who have used it and can say if it's any good.

Ex-KDE user.
Collects old PC's (Coz he can't afford new ones =P)

Unless it was a really large file I can't see this being much quicker than just choosing to open the file with an archiver to start with. I tend to agree on not using add-ons unless absolutely necessary.
