Yep, it could do with an update... ![]()
I was going to post an issue about Distrowatch not listing ext4, but I see that the oldness of the DW page is a known issue, so I'll just leave this post here instead. ![]()
To be honest, I am not sure who is responsible for updating the listing on Distrowatch. I have never had to actively update it myself, I guess it is done by someone at the site?
He's very friendly and responsive so someone should send him an email.
Perhaps they have a program that can grab details from the manifest:
http://mirror.crunchbang.net/crunchbang
nifest.txt
E-mail sent; Ill post the response when it comes.
Heres the reply:
I've just come back from a vacation, so things have been a bit slow on DW
recently. I'll update the page within the next couples of days.Cheers :-)
Looks like it has been updated already, as two 9.04.01 reviews have been listed. However, it still doesn't add amd-64 to the architecture section.

Crunchbang is now in the top 10 on Distrowatch for hits-per-day over the last month. I imagine this position will be maintained until the 8th.
And yes I think amd-64 needs adding.
Have to dig up my old distrowatch conky script... It was a while ago and distrowatch is mentioned so many times on the forum it's hard to find

If found...would you post it? It would save me many valuable mouse clicks ![]()
http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/post/7271/#p7271 here you go, it's the 6 month ranking though but it says how to change it to 30 day rankings, for the weekly rankings use the same address but change it to dataspan=1.
