Topic: How to make a repository

Not that im actually planning to do so, but after searching google i still can not find how to make a linux repository. so..... I thought i'd ask someone who has done it already.

It's just to educate myself and learn even more about how linux works.
I doubt i have the resources to actually do it... but it's good to know how

Re: How to make a repository

Regarding the original question, unfortunately it is beyond the scope of a quick forum reply. I am working on upgrading my personal blog/wiki and I will make an effort to document how I set-up the CrunchBang repositories. Having said that, I am quite busy at the moment and so it may take a while. If you do not hear anything more about this, please feel free to give me a virtual poke from time-to-time. smile

This is also interesting...building a local apt-repo from /var/cache/apt/archives...from a guy in ghana. Actually alot of interesting stuff in his blog.
