Topic: suggestion for crunchbang-theme and crunchbang-themes packages

Ok I found that crunchbang-theme contains the normal grey themes and crunchbang-themes contains the darker grey themes.

So either the packages should be consolidated, or they should have more descriptive names smile

Re: suggestion for crunchbang-theme and crunchbang-themes packages

corenominal@kermit:~$ apt-cache search crunchbang-theme
crunchbang-theme - CrunchBang look - GTK, Metacity and Openbox theme
crunchbang-themes - Themes for CrunchBang

Looking at the description above, you make a good point. I will get on it and update the description to be more informative. Thank you for raising this. smile

Re: suggestion for crunchbang-theme and crunchbang-themes packages

I have now updated both the short and long package descriptions.

corenominal@kermit:~$ apt-cache search crunchbang-theme
crunchbang-theme - CrunchBang look - GTK, Metacity and Openbox theme
crunchbang-themes - Additional GTK+ and Openbox themes.

Full description reads as:

Description: Additional GTK+ and Openbox themes.
 A collection of GTK+ and Openbox themes to use with CrunchBang Linux.
 The collection contains:
 * CrunchBang-Dark-Grey
 * Dyne
 * Dyne-Dark

Regarding merging the packages, I would prefer to keep them separate as 'crunchbang-theme' is part of the 'crunchbang-look' metapackage. Any updates to the metapackage mean all other included packages will be updated. The idea behind 'crunchbang-themes' is that it can be easily updated to include additional themes as and when needed, without having to touch the metapackage.

By the way, if anyone would like to suggest any themes for inclusion, please do so. smile
