I'm not too partial too the stacked symbols...they just look like an I Ching symbol to me.  I much prefer the shebang symbol.  But that's just me.

Well it's actually just a # rotated 90 degrees to the right - the font is Radio Space.
I just found it space effective. big_smile
And BTW I just made a semi-transparent version of "See The Light" - I will post it tomorrow. cool

hey zwopper ! I really like this wallpaper...can't wait for the semi-transparent one. However there is something about the spacing of the crunchbang text that seems to be a little off...looks like it needs to move to the left a bit...maybe it's just me...anyways, excellent concept! cool

There isn't much, but it's there.  It isn't as bad as some I've seen on white backgrounds; if you aren't looking for it, you won't notice it.  I hates JPG compression noise.
