Topic: Special User IDs

Mine is 797 and I tried to figure out what was special about it. Low-hanging fruit: is it a prime? Yes!

I'm terrible with numbers so I had to check here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_prime_numbers

I got really interested in all those special kinds of prime numbers and discovered my UID is a Palindromic prime, Super-prime and a Truncatable prime.

Those of you with lower IDs would find more matches I'm sure. Anybody got anything interesting?

You find your UID in the status bar when you hover over your username (or in the address bar when you click it).

Re: Special User IDs

For a minute I thought you meant the linux user ID tongue

Anyways my forum user number 77 is not prime, but according to here:

http://www2.stetson.edu/~efriedma/numbers.html

77 is the largest number that cannot be written as a sum of distinct numbers whose reciprocals sum to 1.
