Topic: Logitech ClearChat Pro USB Headset

I have a pair of these, and I love them on my Mac.

Has anyone gotten any type of USB headset working on #!. It is seeing the 'Logitech USB Headset' in the Sound as Device #1, but I don't know how to switch to it, and be able to use it for skype and such.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Hello Michael smile

I have searched for information about using the ClearChat Pro headset with Ubuntu, but I did not find much information. According this post, the headset should work -- it needs to be set as the default device for playback and capture. Have you tried this?

Re: Logitech ClearChat Pro USB Headset

I attached my headset via $bluetooth-applet then launched Skype and opened options <crtl> + <o> and selected 'headset'.  I tested the sound via the internal test function in Skype.  Worked like it should.  Hope this helps. big_smile
