Topic: playdeb repo

thanks to makeuseof (http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/3-applicat … nux-games/), i discover playdeb (http://www.playdeb.net/updates/), exactly what we need for a gaming experience in linux.

no more searching around for linux games, playdeb serves as a central linux (debian/ubuntu) game resources.

I suggest crunchbang has playdeb by default, and a link in menu to playdeb website.

Re: playdeb repo

Indeed. Playing games in #! is so much better. Ubuntu uses so much ram, that playing openarena gets cut short. Plus pulseaudio sucks. playdeb is very cool big_smile

Re: playdeb repo

just to let ya'll know that new games are added frequently on playdeb. I've been gaming for the past week and my head is spinning. I've never felt addicted like this for a VEEERY long time, since i left windows completely.

Re: playdeb repo

@toor58 - I'll cop to joining the "pulseaudio = t3h sux" bandwagon the moment I learned that it was causing the stuttering in my audio, but apparently Canonical dropped the ball here, not PulseAudio:
