Topic: minor mishap in install

I've installed #! a few times over the last week, and every time there's only one thing that doesn't work correctly: when install is done the cd-rom is supposed to open, but it doesn't; I have two of them, and #! seems to think it's the other one I use, so I have to use the old "needle-trick" to get the cd out.
After that hitting "enter" won"t work, so I have to use the start button to kill the machine.
So far it hasn't harmed the machine or broken the fresh install, but perhaps the developers can fix this in the future releases?

BTW I do think I'm gonna stick with #! for a while at least :-)

Re: minor mishap in install

i dont know if its a linux specific problem, atleast ive had the same problem with a windows machine, although it had a button so wasnt really a problem.

regarding the enter problem, i assume it works on the live cd?, have you checked the cd to make sure its burned correctly.

well, I don't have windows :-)
and I didn't have the problem with Ubuntu Jaunty or Hardy before

I have checked the cd by running it with "check" first.
