Topic: Change Chromium's Useragent Setting

I'm not exactly sure where this should be posted, so I hope this will do. Anyway, I've been using Chromium for a few weeks now, but I recently encountered a few websites that would not work at all because they didn't support Chrome/Chromium. I quick fix for this is to start Chromium by issuing the command:

chromium-browser --user-agent="Firefox/3.5.5"

You could substitute "Firefox/3.5.5" with anything you please, but this works for me. Enjoy.

Thanks for the tip. It's kind of interesting that the "--user-agent=" option isn't in the man page...

Try it in ConsoleLine
"C:\Program Files\chrome-win32\chrome.exe" --user-agent="Firefox/3.5.5"
