Topic: Crunchbang GDM theme

Not to single anyone out, but since this is your build, Corenominal...what's going on with this?  I keep seeing people have trouble with this and have been stung by it myself.  Any plans for a bugfix?

To be honest, I am not too sure what the issue is. neutral Can you describe in more detail the problems you have experienced?

When the Crunchbang themed GDM login is selected, the computer hangs on login.  We get the spinning 'wait' icon & that's it.  Fortunately there are ways around this hang-up, but it seems this is a common experience here:

1.  User gets tired of 'Plain' login
2.  User chooses 'CrunchBang default welcome theme'.
3.  Computer hangs before GDM loads.
4.  User utters expletives.
5.  User logs in using other system, learns how to get past the GDM login, and chooses another theme.

This happened to me when I was trying to select the other theme.

Running Crunchbang on eee pc 701 and Dell Mini 10v.

Well, all the other stock themes work, so I guess the question is where does the #! theme diverge from the functional themes?
