CB wired LAN works on HP Compaq SR5622SC.

But it did fail on my netbook Acer D250. The desktop has no wifi as far as I know so I have not looked for it.

But I need the CB for my Acer because it is so easy to use on travel visits to relatives and in the town when one visit library and so on.

Your CB is the only distro that I have found that do show the two of my neighbors closed wireless while none of the other even can connect to the wifi card.

So you have done something very right and the others have failed.

I am curious. Is there any other distro that work with wifi in the Acer D250?

I have finally get my act together and biked to the nearest open access point at the local library.

Writing now on my Acer D250 with CB and wireless access.

But it would be cool to to get the wired connection going on it.

Any news on how one as a noob do this?

CB is on a 1GB thumb drive
