Topic: Broadcom HD Decoder in NC10 under Crunchbang?

I am considering adding a Broadcom HD decoder to my Samsung NC10 (kinda bored, it all works well and i need to find something to do with it)
was wondering if anyone has any experience running HD decoders in linux.
I wanted to know which multimedia software takes advantage of the chip if i were ever to install it. would flash 10.1 also be able to use it?
I found the source code for the drivers on their website, how easy is it to compile and install the drivers for the chip... kinda a noob at compiling, if only i could get them with Apt-get...

any help is greatly appreciated

It does work with Flash 10.1 though I don't know about compatibility with video players.
