Topic: May 2010 Screenshot Thread

Greetings all,

Yes I know it's early but I'm going to be away at a work conference until May 3 with limited access so I thought I'd get this ready before I go. Please don't post here until May 1.

If someone could unstick the April thread for me at that time I'd be very grateful.

Anyway, keep the great work coming. This is my favourite thread each month big_smile We really are a creative bunch smile

I haven't changed too much from default. Rounded out the panel, and messed with the colors alittle bit. I always mess with conky non stop but I like it now enough to keep it a whole month (maybe). A nice Royo wallpaper and I'm happy.

GTK theme is Elegant Brit I was going to mod the OpenBox grey to match but the two tone kind of grew on me!

I think I might have a go at playing with GTK themes next as I like this theme but hate thin scroll bars!

I'm also working on an oversized theme for my touch screen Joggler but that isn't quite ready yet (I've only done the title buttons so far)!

This is offtopic actually, since it shows my SL5.4 desktop, but I absolutely love the Light Nimbus theme for OpenSolaris.

Why on earth should anyone want his OS to look like steam? So it finally integrates well?

Every modification I make seems to take away more colour :-)

this is a little more busy in terms of fonts/conky setup than i would personally do, but i certainly dig the colors, wall, and ob theme
sweet setup

Thanks, to be honest it's a little busy for me too, regarding having two conkys, but any apps open on top and cover everything. It's nice to have all the info I need at a glance.
I usually change themes every now and then, but the Elegant Brit theme is one I really like, especially the icon set as it gets applied to the browser and other apps, not just Thunar. Oh, and I use the Dodger font on practically everything, love it! smile
