Topic: #! and compiz

Would it be possible to run compiz under #! openbox without installing gnome? Would it slow #! down much?

compiz is a window manager so it would replace openbox. You can run compiz standalone, there are some guides on here. If you're running openbox you can use xcompmgr, or if your using the new XFCE version of #! the xfce window manager has compositing as well.

So, for example, the right click menu would disappera I would need a panel with a menu applet right?

yea, no right click menu, because that comes from openbox/xfce
