Topic: Statler- xfce print manager does not allow me to add printers

Hi, guys,

Just did a new xfce install, but can't add a printer.  Usually my printer is automatically detected.  When I open xfprint, my printer doesn't appear and I don't have an option to add it.

Any idea?

Cheers,

Chris.

Statler doesn't do printing out-of-the-box for some reason, but it's easy to install what you need. smile

Yup, adding CUPS would help :-). I didn't even think to check whether it was installed, I thought it was the de-facto print queu these days.

Cheers,

Chris.

^ It wasn't included in the alpha but may make an appearance in the beta. corenominal doesn't use printers and I believe has a mild allergy to them lol
