Topic: Fresh convert

hi all!, after quite a trying day installing #! on an old vaio laptop (it was free), i have succeeded! I may be wrong but i think #! see's my old ata as an sata (calling it an sda instead of an hda). Won't format the drive properly, crashing on installing grub and fsck keeps crashing but hey i love the look/theme very slick.
Running an update now then it off to play with the shortcuts and install chromium-browser. big_smile

Welcome TerraRoot!

I'm guessing you installed CrunchBang 9.04, right?  It's based on Ubuntu, which seems to address all hard drives and flash drives as SDA, SDB, etc.

yep 9.04, got it from a linuxfomat dvd, only after it was got it installed i found out about statler. doh!:rolleyes:

Got another hard drive and am now playing with statler, got the xfce version don't really like it, is their a meta package to install #! openbox?
Failing that i'm trying now to sort the touchpad (can't tap the pad to emulate a click) and the workspace list thinks it's vertical so it changes with ctrl+alt+up/down, niggles.
