Topic: Hi from TW [Solved, many thanks to machinebacon]

;)Hello everyone,

I am new to linux.
After trying Ubuntu... I have found it to be a little over-weight.
Tried few light-weight distros, to name a few,
Puppy, DSL etc
Came cross CrunchBang by accident.
It has advantage of apt packaging system as well as being super light on memory.
I love it.
Now I just need to find out how to localize the system. sad
Its BIG 5 by the way, if anyone can help.

Thanks in advance.

Hello xaverine,

welcome to CB. Do you want to localize the language of the apps or the input method? For the latter refer to http://crunchbanglinux.org/wiki/howto_configure_scim and be careful to enter the ' and >> correctly. Fonts can be loaded through synaptics.

Let's all get forked.

@Xaverine, just ask if you need help 我们会帮你!呵呵
If you use Crunchbang Statler, you can try iBus if you don't like SCIM...
