Topic: [Resolved] cookies and login into the forum

Has anybody experienced that? Today, when wanting to log into the forum, I was asked to enable cookies and there's a "you can't post new topics in this sub-forum" notice on top of the News and Announcements sub-forum.
I have cookies enabled, only not non-third-party ones, and I was able to log in only after enabling "Log me in automatically each time", which I don't want.
Is it only me, or has something changed recently?

It may be that only moderators and corenominal (admin) can post new topics in that section (normal members may still post replies however).

I cannot reproduce that. I can login just fine without having to check that box. Furthermore I have cookies disabled with an exception for crunchbanglinux.org.

BTW if you wish to contact me, send me an e-mail instead of a PM.

Re: [Resolved] cookies and login into the forum

Been deleting all the cookies in my Opera browser, and after that login was possible without having to check that box.
Must be a oops with Opera 10.60, then.

Edit: Thanks a lot for testing, anonymous.
