Topic: Migrant from 7

I am migrating from Windows 7 (didnt like it better than Linux) and installed crunchbang 9.04 then upgraded to Ubuntu 10.4. I cant do the Debian thing because I'm not going to download a 600mb ISO. I chose crunchbang because It was the only Ubuntu based distro that could run on the hardware I have in mind.

I am an experienced Linux user and make most of my own modifications.

Hoping to see a wonderful community and a pleasant experience in the world of Crunchbang!

I'm not sure I understand, why can't you download the ISO for debian?

Download the Debian netinstall (~180MB) or businesscard (~40MB) ISOs. And if you prefer Ubuntu, you can use the minimal ISO:

I didn't know ubuntu had a minimal.

However it has no support for wifi cards out of the box and considering that is the only way I can connect to the net....installing the rest of ubuntu is an impossibility
