Topic: wine .bat file issue + recovery disk question

so short story long , my girlfriend is a windows vista user and she's having issues (i mean her computer is!). i'm trying to set up a recovery disk on my flashdrive so i can check if her problems are caused by virii(computer problems!) .  I did some research and was led to try the AVG rescue disk, a windows free virus checker. it comes with a little batch file to set it up on a flashdrive .i figured i should be able to set it up on my #! machine by using wine. i copied all the AVG files over to the flashdrive, opened a terminal, navigated over to the flashdrive, typed
wine cmd.exe
i try to start up that .bat file but i get this error

Please DO NOT run this batch file from system disk

anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

also, in my searching online i came up with AVG as one software solution for this probem, but maybe some crunchbangers could recommend a little piece of linux i coud throw on my flashdrive instead that would do the same (probably better) job?

thanks in advance!

Re: wine .bat file issue + recovery disk question

Though I can't personally vouch for it since I've never used it, http://www.volatileminds.net/opendiagno … cs_Live_CD looks interesting. According to the docs, it can be installed to a USB key.
