Topic: [solved]error after update

Crunchbang Statler 32 bit Xfce.

At the end of a recent update I got the following error message:E: tint: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1.

When I looked at the details toward the end of the details of the update I got this:

Setting up tint (0.04) ...
touch: cannot touch `/var/games/tint.scores': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing tint (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Setting up libtiff4 (3.9.4-3) ...
Setting up vlc-data (1.1.3-1) ...
Setting up libvlccore4 (1.1.3-1) ...
Setting up libvlc5 (1.1.3-1) ...
Setting up vlc-nox (1.1.3-1) ...
Setting up vlc-plugin-notify (1.1.3-1) ...
Setting up vlc-plugin-pulse (1.1.3-1) ...
Setting up vlc (1.1.3-1) ...
Processing triggers for menu ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 tint
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
A package failed to install.  Trying to recover:
Setting up tint (0.04) ...
touch: cannot touch `/var/games/tint.scores': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing tint (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 tint

Is this something that I need to be concerned about? If so, how do I fix it?

If you want to fix it, this should work:

sudo mkdir /var/games/
sudo touch /var/games/tint.scores
