Topic: Pino and Gwibber don't work any more :(

Twitter has killed the basic authentication system used in a lot of Twitter clients yesterday.
My preferred twitter clients Pino and Gwibber failed to connect. Is there any workaround or we have just to wait software updates?

Pino 0.3 is not available yet and all of the workarounds I have searched  for Gwibber involve Ubuntu PPAs.
