Topic: Black Screen at Boot After Installing Driver

I get a black screen instead of a login prompt (after the Crunchbang loading screen) after installing the propriety driver for my GPU.  Any thoughts on how to fix this?  I imagine it might be a resolution issue since changing the graphics card drivers, but I am not sure, and since I can't login I don't really have a way to try out fixes :-(
