pympd stopped

Okay, so I instaled python2.6... and pympd hasn't worked since.

if I run 'python2.6 `which pympd`' it works fine, but if I run 'python2.5 `which pympd`' it fails telling me that there's no such module as 'pympd'

Apparently, something got messed up in pympd when I installed python2.6 -- any ideas? I'd say its probably a valid option to modify /usr/bin/pympd to use /usr/bin/python instead of /usr/bin/python2.5 but I just want to see what people think...
