Topic: Create your own LiveCD!

I recently came across this topic on the Ubuntu forums on how to make your own LiveCD. This can come in handy for easy system restore or just for fun. I've just tried it myself and to my surprise I made my own LiveCD! (with a small error though, I can't login yet, because of my own mistake)

Interesting thread - thanks for the link!

Re: Create your own LiveCD!

I have just remade the LiveCD, but didn't test it yet. Only downside is that I can't make a 32bit one because I'm using a 64bit system - so I can't take it with me to use on other computers. Then again, I never use other computers but my own lol

Re: Create your own LiveCD!

I reinstalled Ubuntu minimal w/ Openbox due to some issues and I made my own LiveCD right after I set everything up and made a full system backup. Only issues I get is that upon boot, it doesn't use my theme/wallpaper and that I can't launch Ubiquity. Other than that, I have just made my own LiveCD in 10 minutes! big_smile
