Topic: Any experience with apples magic trackpad

I know apple is evil - but still, I'm thinking about  buying a magic trackpad as an alternative to the mouse. Does any of you have any experiences getting it to work on debian/statler?

I know connonical is working on a "Synaptics Gesture Suite" but don't know if that will work, or how?

I know this thread is very old but yeah it was easy to get to work

I opened up bluetooth wizard, and selected "only show mice keyboards" from the little dropdown menu
then i pressed the button on the magic trackpad so it could be detected - it took about 60 seconds for my machine to detect the trackpad.
When it found the trackpad i changed the pin options to "0000" - the default for mice and keyboards, then pressed finish, it took a few seconds to pair, and then the trackpad works
