Topic: Package Manager giving me Older version of gEdit

Why does the Package Manager keep giving me older version of Gedit? I know the Stable release is 2.30.2. But my PM only shows 2.26.1.
And I don't know where to find the latest "Repositories".
Help is much Appreciated.

Re: Package Manager giving me Older version of gEdit

Which CrunchBang release are you using? If you are running the release based on 9.04, Gedit 2.26.1 is the correct version.

Re: Package Manager giving me Older version of gEdit

Gedit 2.30.3-1 is the current version in the squeeze repositories.

Re: Package Manager giving me Older version of gEdit

Squeeze repositories are for Debian. If you are running #! 9.04 then Gedit 2.26.1 should be correct.
