Re: What are you listening to right now ?

^ Lewis is how the English say it. Gaelic myself (Welsh), I prefer to respect the correct, Gaelic name. Nice one on the purchase. You make Geoff happy (and keep him going).

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

@dura they write it Leòdhas in gaelic, but gaelic pronunciation is not something I'm good at. Great stone circle, Callanish/Calanais and there's that broch Dun Carloway just up the road, ooh and that black house village - quite a long time since I was there though.
I've ordered the CD direct from the Probe plus website - cut out the middlemen  smile

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

Well when I was there it was Lewes. I'm not really bothered anyway. I was only there for 3 days, as research. Amazing though. I laid about in the heather and listened to the Skylarks. I went to Isle of Arran few weeks ago with my girlfriend for a few days. Also great.

Probe Plus has the worst website in the world. I'm meant to be redesigning it (for the last 2 years...)- problem is Geoff is such a clutz he doesn't know the password for the server its stored on and can't contact the guy who made it. Good introduction to his style of working. Great guy- we go out for food and beers quite often, and I think he's one of the most important, unsung, people in British music. Pretty much the first independent record shop that called themselves that.

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

^ Classic. I can't say I'm that bothered about the spelling / pronunciation of hebridean islands either, that's nobody's business but the Hebrideans, I have got a little bit of a pedantic streak though  hmm (see also Mary Hopkin). If it was gonna be part of your band name though, I'd maybe check...

Me too.  See Freytag's analysis of dramatic structure for a literary explanation of why passages like this have that kind of effect.  (Hint:  it comes between "rising action" and "falling action", and should remind you of something. devil )

Well I was going to use the "O" word but since you said there are no pink bits allowed on #!, I thought it best to keep it above the waist :-)
