Hi All!

Robert, male. Lurking for a week or so (since the 19th).

Trialed #! from a USB stick on a HP dm1-3125ed, 8GB (2 4GB sticks, but single channel) DDR3, 384MB shared graphics memory. I soon forgot that #! was not installed. It was that fast. And when I looked to the right of my desktop I saw the low RAM and HD usage. All hardware was detected properly and working, even power saving worked from the Live stick. I'm impressed. And I love the dark Minimalism inspired UI. cool

But the main reason to boot up #! was to check the current state of, and try out all kinds of (new) Linux dev and graphics software. Just to see what's available. And I did for about 7 hours (from the USB stick). I'm still trying out all kinds of stuff. And although it wasn't planned, I will most likely set up a multiboot (or a VM) for #! this weekend.
I can't ditch Windows because I still need it to run the Windows version of IBM i Access, and also some other work related Windows only software.
