I use Qcad Prof 3.0 extensively as it's a 2D cad application that is mature polished, runs well on Linux (mostly) and gives a lot of bang for the buck. It is however a i386 application and Qcad do not currently do a 64 bit version. I've been able to use it in Crunchbang (Waldorf) 32bit but have had no luck with getting it to work on the 64 bit Waldorf. Multiarch is enabled and I can download and instal 32 bit applications but no luck with Qcad. Has anybody on these forums got Qcad to work on 64 bit Waldorf? I could switch to the 32bit version but that seems a rather absurd thing to do whem my machine (Dell Precision M66) is an i7 cpu with 16Gb of memory.
Thanks in advance.
PS. I'm getting this error at the moment: ./qcad-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
No idea what it means except that its possibly looking for a 32 bit version of libGL.so.1?
