Re: August 2013 Screenshot Thread

The new screenfetch-dev looks for /etc/lsb-release-crunchbang

Re: August 2013 Screenshot Thread

Yep, screenfetch-dev looks for  /etc/lsb-release-crunchbang, while archey uses the lsb_release command, which looks into  /etc/lsb-release. So they both go for fallback if they don't find respectively lsb-release or lsb-release-crunchbang. It could be possible to change some code to sync them all... But I guess I will just stick to screefetch. :-p

@S11 - inxi pulls in a bunch of stuff that I don't need.

@rooster - thanks, cleaning up and clearing out some configs.

looks like we could be heading back your direction after a 3 year absence. Going to have to clean up the fly rod.

Good call on the Hopkins.  I haven't really liked the new album as good as Opalescent though.

Dude, gender aint it.  How we're gonna get hose training wheels off.  That's the task at hand.  Probably just listening to "working nights" for three months straight will give the answer.

Re: August 2013 Screenshot Thread

I posted a screenshot here of my desktop with some conky going on. But I'm not sure if that's the right place since I'm only a novice at conky and it doesn't really fit with the more advanced work that can be found there. So, I'll post a screenshot here instead.

Edit1: I left the latitude and longitude in since they're not mine anyway.
Edit2: Changed location of file.

Re: August 2013 Screenshot Thread

@ Wodanford - I'm sorry to disagree with you!

That was the right place, you show the wall and the conkys and explained what was where and why.  Conky's that are small but themed like yours have an 'artistic' touch to them that makes them unique and beautiful.  It's a great desktop you created.

So "tomorrow" (whatever tomorrow) you'll make another one. Yes?

@pr

dude, nice. that series of fvwm patches provides rounded corners based on flux box.  I haven't gotten around to making  a proper jessie deb for it yet though.  It's just frustrating for me to get pbuilder/or deb build to incorporate patches like ebuild on gentoo or pkbuild on arch.  Maybe someone here has some suggestions.  Actually, Dr. Phil probably knows exactly how to do it... time to start looking at cb src pkgs  cool
