There isn't a new Crunchbang 12 yet, and there won't be until Debian Jessie goes Stable. You can get a recent kernel from wheezy-backports, as explained here
There is a search icon at the top right of the page - most questions you may have have been asked/answered before.
If your need of a newer kernel is keeping the Waldorf ISO from even booting/running on your system, there are several threads here about getting from a Debian Testing or Unstable netinstall to something resembling Waldorf; the forum search tool is your friend for this as well. (I have no experience with this, so I don't feel comfortable recommending any specific thread.)
Also you can test a normal Debian Testing/Jessie-install. Please test first the wheezy backports.

There may be test/beta releases prior to Jessie going stable.
