Team
Everything on CrunchBangLinux carries a real byline. We do not publish under house pseudonyms or invented names, and we never attach a real person’s name to work they did not write.
The founding team is being assembled now. Contributors are listed here as they join, each with a real photograph, a substantive biography, their areas of expertise, and links to their public profiles (GitHub / GitLab / Mastodon). The roles we are building around:
- Editor-in-Chief — overall editorial responsibility and sign-off.
- News editor — the daily desk; primary-sourced release, kernel, and advisory coverage.
- Security researcher — owns original investigations and coordinated disclosure.
- Guides editor — a working sysadmin/engineer responsible for the tested-on discipline.
- Reviews editor — hands-on testing; rankings independent of commission.
- Contributing writers from the community.
Security researchers may write under a documented pseudonym where there is a genuine reason; when they do, it is labelled as such and an editor vouches for them. Want to contribute? Get in touch.
